Stormwater Stenciling

Everything that is put in a storm drain or on the ground ultimately drains to a stream. Whereas waste water in the County sanitary sewer system receives treatment before being released into our environment, storm water flows directly into the nearest stream or river. Stormwater Stenciling reminds citizens that water quality and aquatic life are directly affected by waste going down storm drains. These items include oil, paint, wash water, pesticides, yard clippings/debris, and other pollutants washed into the catch basins.
